"Z" Story
This probably ought to be a comment instead of a post, but this story is too good for any of you to miss: A visitor to the Salt Lake area was being shown some of the local sites by his friend. When they left the car unlocked the visitor inquired if that was wise. His friend assured him it was safe, even though they were downtown. The same thing happened when they visited the State Capitol and the U of U campus: yes, it was safe to leave the car unlocked. The next day was Sunday. As they exited the car to go in to church, the local man rolled the windows up and made sure the doors of the car were locked. His friend was totally befuddled. "Why do you lock your car here at the church when you said it was safe in the middle of town?" he asked. The local man said, "That's easy to explain. It's zucchini season!"

You aren't kidding! My neighbor leaves one or 2 out on his street-facing steps, or puts them in my mailbox. That reminds me that I've got a big one on the counter that I need to throw out. Oh well, I'll just walk next door and pick another. Zucchini bread is calling my name
Speaking of zucchini, if anybody wants some . . . JK. Try the chocolate zucchini recipe in the Westover family cookbook. It's pretty good.
