going on a hiatus

We are officially bringing our main bathroom into the 21st century, saying goodbye to the original tiles, fixtures, floors, and BLUE toilet, bathtub and sinks.  We have already removed the original linoleum and the sub-floor, which was not an easy task, removed the toilet, and the shower doors.  And today I get to remove all of the ugly, mustardy-gold tile from the tub surround.  Yippee!
We are keeping the cabinet, mirror and lights, but that's about it.  And on top of it all, our nights are booked through this week, Aaron is leaving for his annual golf outing on Thursday morning (for 3 days), it is Carly's birthday on Friday, and Saturday is jam-packed with other activities.  Oh, and I get to host book club at our house Monday night.  In other words, my family will be eating lots of ramen noodles and peanut butter and jelly sandwiches for the next 3 weeks.  And YES, we will have it finished in time for guests in July :-)
